JVF Alumni weekend to kick off June 10th and 11th!
The JVF is pleased to present our first annual alumni weekend!
On the anniversary of James Vick's passing, the organization will host JVF athletes, coaches, volunteers, supporters, donors, benefactors, and friends, to celebrate our mission of free sports programming.
Alumni weekend will take place at Johnson Field on the campus of Yale University.
JVF Field Hockey will headline the weekend, hosting Falcons Field Hockey (New Jersey), and Competitive Edge Field Hockey (Trumbull) on consecutive nights, showcasing our burgeoning free field hockey program, and the incredible student athletes that participate.
We are so thankful to host two such wonderful programs!
The organization will also celebrate the first ever JVF Day on June 10th.

Alumni
All JVF Alumni will be contacted regarding the specific schedule for the weekend, if you are JVF, and have not received any communications regarding the weekend, please contact the JVF immediately.
We will recognize all alumni on both nights! Please let us know which night you would like to attend!
Student Section
The JVF is organizing a student section to cheer for JVF Field Hockey on both nights! The student section is open to any JVF Alumni, athletes, or friends of players on the JVF Field Hockey program. All student section participants will receive a free JVF T-shirt! The student section will be permitted to organize cheers, and songs, and support the JVF team as loudly as possible! The JVF also invites high school music students to organize a band for Saturday, June 10th.
We will update this post with the Student Section registration on May 15th.
Fundraising
The JVF is going to be inviting all of our supporters, our donor network, and local non-profits to the event, the organization will be sending formal invitations to our community guests starting early this evening!
We ask everyone to support our programs, throughout the weekend attendees will be able to donate to the alumni weekend online fundraiser, or directly donate on either night!
Food Trucks
The JVF will have food trucks, and a lemonade stand on both nights! We encourage everyone to support local business and eat dinner at the games!

In our season finale, we will celebrate our outgoing senior class, as well as alumni!
We wish to invite everyone to this incredible weekend, especially friends of the athletes! Our goal is to #packthestadium on both nights! In total, we are aiming for two consecutive sellouts, creating an unprecedented competitive atmosphere for the athletes, and coaches, as well as a unique fundraiser for the organization.
