The "Hope Cup" will kick off the Futebol Development program!

The James Vick Foundation is pleased to announce, that the Hope Cup, the kickoff to the Futebol Development program, has been approved by our CEO.


The Futebol Development Program is exciting for us, because it gives our staff a chance to not only facilitate events like the Hope Cup, and mini camps, but also, we finally get to focus on development, achievement, and conditioning.


The FDP has informed us that registration is now open! Please click on the events portion of this website, and click register now next to the FDP!


Make sure you create a sports engine account before registering, parents are reporting a glitch if you don't.


Programming for the 5-7 year old age group will be forthcoming shortly!


A couple important details about registration


  • Registration will cover all FDP programs, including the Hope Cup, you only have to register once to gain access to all future programming

  • There will be a separate coaches registration, that portal will go live next week

  • Registration is free of charge for participants

  • The FDP is a not a gender specific program , boys, girls, and whomever else is welcome

  • Programming will be begin with mini camps in late June, the Hope Cup is slated roughly for early July

  • Children must submit an updated physical to info@jamesvickfoundation.org

  • All children, and parents, will have to agree to Covid-19 testing prior to participation

  • Spectators will not be permitted at the Hope Cup, or any other programming until further notice

  • Registration closes June 12th

  • The Hope Cup, and all soccer programming is contingent upon the appropriate guidance from Governor Ned Lamont
