JVF Announces Inaugural Media Day at Elicit Brewing Company

Manchester -- The James Vick Foundation (JVF) is proud to announce JVF Media Day, a new annual community event celebrating the organization's athletes while raising support for the future of JVF Athletics.

The event will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Elicit Brewing Company in Manchester, Connecticut, and is open to the community.

Designed to bring together athletes, families, supporters, community partners, and prospective donors, JVF Media Day will feature professional player photography, athlete interviews, and opportunities to meet members of the JVF Dragons while learning more about the Foundation's mission to provide free, high-level athletic opportunities for student-athletes.

Funds raised during the event will directly support the 2027 Yale Series, national competition, the JVF Dragons (Field Hockey), JVF Lions (Basketball), and JVF Tigers (Soccer), helping ensure that participation remains accessible regardless of a family's financial circumstances.

The timing of JVF Media Day also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Foundation. With the 2027 admissions process concluding prior to the event, Media Day will serve as the first opportunity to introduce the newest generation of JVF student-athletes and celebrate the future of the organization alongside returning players and supporters.

"Media Day is about more than photographs or interviews," said JVF Founder Christian Vick. "It's an opportunity to celebrate our athletes, thank the community that makes our work possible, and invite new supporters to become part of what we're building together."
