JVF Announces Women’s Day Cup and 2026 Yale Series

New Haven — The James Vick Foundation has opened registration for two spring 2026 events: the Women’s Day Cup, scheduled for March 8, and the 3rd Annual Yale Series Championship, which will conclude on May 17 at Johnson Field in New Haven.
The events are separate in format, audience, and competitive focus, and will be held at different locations across Connecticut.

Women’s Day Cup
March 8th, CFC Park, Connecticut
The Women’s Day Cup is a one-day field hockey event open to high school and club teams. The event is centered on competitive play and the recognition of women in sport, with an emphasis on accessibility and participation.
There is no registration fee for teams.

The Yale Series returns for its third year as the James Vick Foundation’s premier club competition. The Series is governed by USA Field Hockey rules and is open to club teams only.The format includes two preliminary competition dates on April 26 and May 3, followed by the Championship Tournament on May 17 at Johnson Field in New Haven.
