James Vick Foundation Announces Longstreth Sporting Goods as Supporting Equipment Partner for 2026 Spring Competition Season
The James Vick Foundation (JVF) today announced that Longstreth Sporting Goods will serve as a Supporting Equipment Partner for JVF Field Hockey during the 2026 Spring Competition Season, as athletes prepare for both the 2026 Yale Series Championship at Johnson Field in New Haven and participation in the Region 4 Regional Club Championship.
Founded in 1977 by U.S. national team player and coach Barbara Longstreth, the company began by selling field hockey sticks from the trunk of a car and has grown into the leading supplier of field hockey equipment in the United States, serving players from youth programs through collegiate and national-level competition.
Longstreth continues to operate from its Spring City, Pennsylvania campus and works directly with teams, schools, clubs, and universities nationwide.
For more than four decades, Longstreth has focused on supporting female athletes through specialized equipment, footwear, apparel, and technical expertise delivered by staff that includes current and former players and coaches working directly within the sport.
JVF Field Hockey Director Christian Vick said in a statement:
“As the only scholarship based nonprofit program currently competing at this level nationally, support from a field hockey titan like Longstreth is critical to our continued growth in this game. The entire JVF organzation is beyond grateful for their partnership this spring as our athletes prepare for Region 4 Regional Club Championship competition and the Yale Series at Johnson Field."
