The 2025 Yale Series will aim to "inspire and raise the bar"

New Haven Connecticut -- Earlier this month the James Vick Foundation officially confirmed the return of the Yale Series Championship.

The groundbreaking Field Hockey championship will return in April of 2025, and will be contested at the world class Johnson Field on the campus of Yale University.

The Championship will again be free to all particiapting clubs, and the athletes that compete for them. The tournament organizers will seek to inspire, and raise the bar, for an event that will again look to be one of the most public Field Hockey stages on the east cost.

In promoting accesibility, harmony, and competition, the participants will again grow the game.

In a statement, Tournament Chair Christian Vick could barely contain his excitement

" I told everyone last year that the goal was to successfully stage the tournament once because in doing that; it would give us the chance to do it again, and create a tradition. I was so delighted to not just see everyone involved pull it off but to hit a home run in the first year.The 2024 Yale Series was one of the premier Field Hockey events in the country last year, magical, and it didn't feature 1000 kids, or a stiff expense schedule.

I believe the 2025 Yale Series is going to be crazy, I believe this because of the girls, not just the JVF girls, but all those athletes I met last year from the other clubs. I believe in the club directors who believed, worked, and showed such patience with us during this ambitious venture. All of the participants played with such passion, they were so happy to be there, I believe in that spirit. I am not a fool, I know that a successful sequel is never a sure thing, but the love, passion, and happiness this wonderful sport brings, the beautiful facility, the quality of the players, I think this is a good bet to make"

Johnson Field will serve as the official home of the 2025 Yale Series Championship

The JVF will spend the rest of 2024, and some time in 2025 rounding the draw, and confirming clubs to compete in the championship.

The 2025 Yale Series format and team selections will be officially announced in March. The tournament is now open to any U/19 Field Hockey club in the United States.
