Video: Dream League athletes weigh in on the upcoming season


The Dream League hosted an opening event presser for all the captains, and leaders that will lead the 10 different teams set to compete in the Dream League 2020.


The clinic was a smashing success, and the talent level was off the charts.


We wanted to post video interviews with each ball club as they prepare for one of the most important competitions Women's Lacrosse has seen in a long time.

The Dream League teams will officially start practice tomorrow, June 22nd.


Games will start July 6th with the regular season concluding on August 8th.


Each team will play a mix of out of conference games, and in conference games, every single team will get a senior night.

The Amity Vikings, Shelton Stags, West Haven Bulldogs, Stratford Devil Dogs, and Monroe Panthers will play in the Dream League South, while the Guilford Seahawks, the Branford Sting, The North Haven Warriors, the Madison Mavericks, and the Wallingford West Side will play in the Dream League North.


The Conference Tournaments will start August 10th, The Dream League North will be contested at Guilford, and the Dream League South will be contested at Penders Field in Stratford.

The two conference champions will meet in the final.


The Dream League program is free for the student athletes, enrollment includes insurance, practice shirts, and game uniforms are covered by the league, the James Vick Foundation provides general administrative support to all of the teams, and the girls, while the coaches, and the parent volunteers provide on site support.

The Dream League intendeds to give the athletes back what was taken from them with the canceled high school season, the teams that will compete in the program are finally getting a chance to enjoy the thrill of competition, and we could not be more proud of all of them.


All Dream League athletes agreed to Cover-19 testing as a condition of enrollment, as well as prevention protocol prior to practices and games.


The Dream League officially starts tomorrow!!!
