WILBRAHAM - The JVF Vipers concluded the fall season in emphatic fashion on Sunday afternoon at the New England Showcase in Wilbraham Massachusetts.
Led by Amanda Ogrodowicz, and Grace Foley, the Vipers produced a JVF tournament record 32 goals in just three games, sprinting to a perfect 3-0 record. With college coaches in attendance, the girls put on a record breaking performance that was almost three years in the making.
Alessia Lye, Mia Park, Kylee Payne, and Delaney Johnston also made a huge impact offensively, giving the Viper offense a diverse and potent attack down the stretch.
The steady hand of goalkeeper Gabriella Puklin, the aggression of Kylie Rosen, and the brilliance of Brooke Carlisle solidified a defense that was missing two starters, allowing just 9 goals in three games.
The Vipers improved to 7-3-2 in major tournaments in 2021, setting the table for an exciting 2022, in which the team will return 8 starters, and welcome a new class of competitive lacrosse players.
Head coach Amanda Rosen, and associate head coach Kelsey Darcy provided leadership, strategy, and support throughout the run, giving the team the type of coaching the organization has been seeking for years.
The JVF Vipers will return for winter training camp in January ahead of the summer travel season, any athletes that are interested in trying out for the team need to contact the JVF via the form on this website.
