Y26: Championship Sunday delivers thrills and excitement

East End Field Hockey Head Coach Jaedyn Hannigan with the 2026 Yale Series Trophy (JVF)

New Haven — The James Vick Foundation proudly concluded the Yale Series Championship 2026 on Sunday at Johnson Field at Yale University, capping off another unforgettable spring of competition, collaboration, and community.

Despite difficult weather conditions throughout the weekend, athletes, families, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters created an incredible atmosphere from the opening whistle through the championship games. Supportive stands, cheering parents, outstanding sportsmanship, and nonstop energy turned Championship Sunday into a celebration of everything the Yale Series was designed to represent.

Now in its third consecutive year, the Yale Series once again provided what remains the only free national tournament experience of its kind in America.
