JVF Announces 2026 RCCS National Championship Roster

New Haven -- The James Vick Foundation (JVF) is proud to announce its official roster for the 2026 Regional Club Championship (RCCS), which will take place June 13–14 at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.

Representing nine communities across Connecticut and New Jersey, twenty student-athletes will compete on behalf of the Foundation in one of the region’s premier field hockey events.

For the athletes, RCCS represents the culmination of eight months of training, competition, fundraising, and service. For the Foundation, it represents something larger: a nonprofit organization providing athletes with opportunities to compete at the highest levels of regional club field hockey regardless of financial circumstance.

“This moment belongs to our entire community,” said Christian Vick, founder of the James Vick Foundation. “To see a nonprofit organization reach this stage is a reflection of the families, volunteers, donors, coaches, and athletes who have invested in our mission over the years. What makes this group especially exciting is the balance between present and future. Four members of this roster will begin their collegiate careers this fall at NCAA Division I, II, and III programs, while four freshmen and five sophomores will compete alongside them. It is a unique opportunity for younger athletes to learn from experienced teammates while contributing alongside them on one of the biggest stages our program has reached. We are grateful for the support that made this opportunity possible and proud to represent our community at the Regional Club Championships.”

The Foundation also recognizes and thanks the partners, donors, and supporters who helped make the 2026 season possible, including the JVF Annual Fund, Liberty Bank, New Haven Bank, Teamsters Local 443, PBK, and Flower Wonderland, along with the many families, volunteers, and individual donors who continue to support youth athletics throughout Connecticut.
