#JVFHockey announces the official rosters for the Dragons and Panthers!

After a productive winter camp, and plenty of hard work, the #JVFHockey program is so proud to present our official rosters for the JVF Dragons, and the JVF Panthers!


We want to thank everyone that participated this winter at the CFC arena, and wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the athletes that will represent this foundation in competition this spring, and summer!


The JVF Field Hockey program will compete in tournaments, practice, and engage in community activities!


JVF Dragons


After the 2022 JVF Dragons set such a high bar, transforming the program, the 2023 Dragons enter the season experienced, seasoned, and in pursuit of the program's first major championship.



Captains


Taya Buntin (Cheshire)


Taya returns to the Dragons as a Senior Captain, the Cheshire native is committed to Western New England University, and will look to push her team to the next level. Taya is only four goals away from breaking the program scoring record.


Ava Coppola (Southington)


The Southington product joins the Dragons as a Senior Captain, as well as an official commit to Springfield College. Know for her good cheer, and competitive fire, Ava will flank Taya, and others, within the Dragons offense.


Payton Kamienski (North Branford)


Hailing from North Branford, Payton returns as the only three time captain in the programs history. A consummate leader, and competitor, Payton will anchor a deep defense alongside Aryana Wilson.

Panthers


After a fun 2022, the 2023 Panthers will look to raise the bar in 2023, returning several starters and boasting a new class of teammates.


Captains


Marissa Manzo (Shelton)


Entering her third year with JVF Field Hockey, Marissa assumes the mantle of captain for the JVF Panthers. An experienced, and tough field hockey player, the easy going Shelton native will look to lead the Panthers to a fun, and enriching season!


Ella Paul (Cheshire)


Given her positivity, and the impact she has on her teammates, Ella demonstrated her leadership capabilities during the 2023 winter program, ascending to the a program leader as she prepares for the next season at Cheshire High School.

The JVF Dragons and the JVF Panthers will open their regular season at the Spring Hockey Cup May 14th at CFC Park in Bethany!
