The JVF is pleased to introduce the JVF Spartans! Our first ever boys lacrosse team for high school age athletes.
Our foundation wants to thank the special collection of young men that pushed for this program, we also want to recognize Danielle and Mariella Herrmann for putting in the time and effort necessary to get this exciting program off the ground! We also want to thank Coach Wescott, and his staff!
Spartans Boys Lacrosse is a free lacrosse club, the foundation will not charge athletes registration/uniform/tournament fees as a condition of participation, we instead will expect the boys to engage in peer to peer fundraising to keep the program and team activities humming. The program will kick off later this month, the team will engage in a series of sessions aimed at improving fitness, stick skills, and an overall understanding of the game.The main objective this winter will be preparing the boys for the season, and developing chemistry ahead of potential tournaments.
After the conclusion of the high school season this spring, the coaching staff and the administration will evaluate if the program is ready to participate in the summer tournament season.
Space for this program has gone quickly, but we still have room for any athletes that want to be part of a lacrosse club, and for whatever reason have not been afforded the opportunity to do so.
Any athletes interested in joining the Spartans are free to fill out an application, JVF staff will be evaluating all applications, and inform all athletes of their status by no later then January 17th 2022! You can apply for the Spartans right here.
