New Haven--The 2025 Yale Series Championship is more than just a tournament, it's an expression of community and competition. Born from the James Vick Foundation’s mission to create high quality access for athletes, the Yale Series has quickly become one of the premier showcases on the East Coast, and the organization could not be more excited to welcome all of these wonderful teams.
What started as an idea inspired by the Connecticut Open Tennis Tournament is now a national event entering it's second year. The Championship will be played on the storied Johnson Field turf of Yale University.
The 2025 edition features some of the best teams, and athletes in the country, playing for the love of the sport without any fee schedule, or obligation. We want to thank all of them for supporting the championship!

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Preliminary Round (April 27 & May 4):All teams guaranteed 2 games. No ties, every match ends in sudden death penalty strokes
Championship Tournament (May 18):NCAA-style group play feeds into a single-elimination bracket. No ties every match ends in sudden-death penalty strokes.
Match Length: Two 18 minute halves, 5-minute halftime
Eligibility: No college players. U19 only.
Cost: Free to all players. No entry fee.
Rules: The Championship will follow USA Field Hockey Tournament Rules

THE FIELD – 2025 CONTENDERS
🐉 JVF Dragons (New Haven, CT)
The JVF Dragons are the host of the 2025 Yale Series Tournament Championship, and the first 501c(3) nationally affliated private field hockey club in history.
Worcester Lenders (Worcester, MA)
The story of the tournament, the Lenders are made of a collection of competitive athletes from Worcester area high schools that have come together specifically for the 2025 Yale Series Championship.
CT Elite is a blue-blood program that consistently produces collegiate talent. With a history of success in national tournaments, a deep, experienced roster, and some of the best coaches in the country, they will be a strong team at the event.
The Wizards are one of the very best field hockey clubs in the country with a large number of college commits over the last few years. They are currently ranked 10th in the nation in the U-19 division according to the USA Field Hockey rankings

HTC is a nationally recgonized brand, and one of the most successful clubs in the sport's history. HTC is currently ranked 30th in the country according to the U-19 USA Field Hockey rankings.
One of the strongest programs on the east coast, and an old friend of the James Vick Foundation. The Westchester Country based ball club is one of the most respected teams on the east coast, and a consistent contender at the national level.
A first-time entrant in the Yale Series, and widely recognized as one of the most competitive programs in the country. AGH is currently ranked 19th in the nation according to the USA Field Hockey rankings.
East End Field Hockey will become the first club team from the LI area to compete in the 2025 Yale Seriea Championship. They bring with them a reputation for gritty and competitive Field Hockey.

The James Vick Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making elite-level athletic opportunities accessible to all athletes, both locally and nationally. This championship is about more than just competition, it’s a celebration of youth, community, and unity. Seeing families from so many different backgrounds come together for a shared purpose is a powerful reminder of what sports can do, and something every participating organization should be proud of.
