James Vick Futebol is so proud of all the athletes that participated in the second annual Inclusion Cup.
A diverse and talented draw descended upon Hamden Middle School Park Saturday morning, and played with flair, toughness, and passion for the duration of the competition.
Representing 15 different countries, the athletes showed us all what can be achieved through inclusion, unity, decency, JVF Futebol would like to thank everyone for a supreme effort on and off the pitch.
The competition featured a penalty kick shootout, marvelous technical stretches, and kids happy to be outside, and out from under all the stress we all face on a daily basis.
The success of the Inclusion Cup sowed the seeds for the next one, now scheduled for the spring of 2021, we will seek to bring more teams, expand the tournament to even more populations.
The JVF would like to thank all of the coaches, volunteers, and the JVF Vipers! The Vipers volunteered at the tournament, providing an awesome example for our younger generations! We really appreciate all of the support!
A big thank you to Clifford Beers, Brian Nolan, Anne Lozon, the Hamden soccer association, New Haven Youth Soccer, Vale SC, Hamden Parks and Recreation, Realist Ventures, and all of our community partners!!
An awesome team effort, we will see everyone next year!!!!!!!
